Ang Una Kong Matinong Post

Waaaaah. Hanggang ngayon wala pa akong matinong post. Huhuhu. Tapos aalis na bukas. Pupunta ako sa Laguna. May 5 pa balik ko. At dahil wala pa akong nagagawa, ilalagay ko na lang ‘yung piece ko sa National Secondary Schools Press Conference (NSSPC). Hehe. Kaso medyo pangit. Saka triple C: Corny, conceited, and cheesy. Kaya read at your own risk. Saka nga pala, hindi ko inayos. Kung ano ang nasa original ay nandito rin. Kaya kahit mga mali ay hindi ko tinama. Hehe.

Ni-rephrase ko yan kasi ang original ay How do you look at your country 25 years from now and how do you look at yourself by then? Ang wordy. Hehe. Well, here it goes…

 

 It was all but a dream

    “Did somebody tell you that nobody’s perfect?

    “Well, that’s history! Because with just a little drop of Perfection Potion, you’ll be as perfect as you can be!”

    “Tired of cleaning the house?

    “No problem! With this Super Mega Robot 21 (SMR21), the White House will be trash compared to yours!”

    These are just some of the breakthroughs of a country which is the leading nation when it comes to inventions in the year 2032.

    The president of this country must be so blessed to be its leader. And that’s how blessed I am!

    I am so proud of this country. A country which altered the course of civilization. A country which I am president. A country called Philippines.

   I have shed tears, blood, and sweat just for this nation. And since I have not introduced myself yet, I will.

   You can call me Mr. Press-ident. I’m 41 years old but still handsome and young-looking.

   I’m not a Moslem but I have three wives whose names are Aida, Lorna, and Fe. And I really really love them very much.

   I have 30 children, 10 for each of them, and I’m not gonna enumerate their names anymore because it will take a lot of time. They are all government officials and they work in different departments.

   Sorry, you can’t file me a case because political dynasty is now legal.

   OK. Enough with me! Let’s talk about the country.

   But I still want to thrill you a bit.

   I’ve been reigning the Philippines since 2023 and every time there is an election, I have no enemies because they’re afraid to compete with me.

   Let us now go back to the country.

   The economy is really fluorishing a lot and 1 US dollar is now equivalent to P0.20. We’re also teeming with unique and essential inventions! Flying cars are everywhere! Robots are in every household! And super gizmos are in every Filipino’s hands!

    We’re now the most powerful and wealthiest country in the world and America is begging us to make it a province of ours.

   I’m still thinking about America’s plea because I have just taken over Europe and I’m not yet ready to add another one.

   As i think of all these, nausea suddenly swept over me.

   Dizziness then flooded my whole body.

   It seemed that I was about to faint.

   Finally, I woke up.

   I was shocked a bit but later I realized that it  was all but a dream.
